DRIVING + Blood Alcohol Content (BAC) of 0.8 or higher = DUI Arrest

  • Tennessee Law for DUI 2nd Offender Penalties

  • Jail Time (45 days up to 11 months and 29 days)

  • $600-$3,500 mandatory fine

  • 2 Years License Revocation (Restricted License Can be Applied)

  • Subject to vehicle seizure/forfeiture

  • Pay your own Ignition Interlock Device installation

  • Attend Alcohol and drug treatment program

  • If two (2) convictions of DUI in 5 years, Ignition Interlock Device required for 6 months after reinstatement at your expense

  • Pay restitution to any person suffering personal injury or loss
